Approach

Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative, thoughtful, and centered on you. Drawing from evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy—I tailor each session to your unique goals, values, and lived experience.

This flexible blend allows us to explore the roots of your challenges, deepen your self-understanding, and build practical strategies for resilience and growth. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or past trauma, our work is collaborative and adaptive—always shaped by what’s most helpful for you.

Therapy is never one-size-fits-all. By staying present with your experience and checking in along the way, I adjust the path we take to ensure our work remains aligned and impactful. At its core, this is a space for discovery, healing, and transformation—guided by curiosity, compassion, and trust.

Attachment-Based Therapy explores how early relationships shape the way you connect, manage emotions, and see yourself. When those early bonds were inconsistent, neglectful, or overwhelming, they can leave lasting imprints. In our work together, we’ll gently repair old relational wounds, strengthen your sense of safety and trust, and build healthier ways of relating—to others and to yourself.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on the powerful connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that no longer serve you—like self-criticism, fear-based beliefs, or unhelpful coping strategies—and replace them with more supportive and empowering perspectives. CBT helps you understand how your thoughts shape your emotional world and equips you with practical tools to create meaningful change.

Existential Therapy invites you to explore the deeper questions of life—meaning, purpose, freedom, and mortality. Rather than offering quick fixes, this approach holds space for honest reflection about who you are and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll explore your values, beliefs, and sense of purpose, supporting you in living more authentically and with greater intention.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) views the mind as made up of distinct “parts,” each with its own voice, emotion, and intention. Some parts carry pain, while others try to protect you from it. In therapy, we gently get to know these parts and build a relationship with your core Self—the calm, compassionate inner leader who can guide healing from within. IFS supports emotional clarity, inner balance, and deep self-understanding.

Person-Centered Therapy emphasizes the healing power of a genuine, trusting relationship. At the heart of this approach is the belief that you already hold the wisdom to grow—therapy simply creates the conditions for that growth. In our work, I offer warmth, empathy, and deep respect for your lived experience, helping you reconnect with your sense of self and move toward choices that reflect your values and hopes.
